Angelina Jolie wears TD Tom Davies sunglasses

"The Tourist", the new Hollywood blockbuster starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp, which opens UK-wide today, has made global headlines over the passionate on-screen clinches between the two stars - close-ups which allegedly infuriated Depp's longterm partner, the French singer and actress, Vanessa Paradis.
But in Mortlake, London, the movie is going down a storm for quite a different reason.
Angelina Jolie is seen on-screen wearing a pair of custom-made sunglasses by the British designer Tom Davies, whose bespoke studio is based in this south west London suburb.
The Angelina Jolie sunglasses, an oversized 1960s retro-style, are from a 'limited edition' collection of 200 pairs, and cost from £220 upwards.
Davies took inspiration for the glamorous oval shape from those once worn by Jackie 'O'.
A former film and television student at the University of East Anglia, Davies, 36, first began producing his own brand sunglasses for the rich and famous in 2000, after working in China.
Three years ago he opened opened a state of the art production facility in China, which manufactures frames in titanium, acetate, and horn, to a very high level.
British musician, Matthew Bellamy, the Muse frontman, recently seen in 'The Killer Inside Me', and who has been dating Kate Hudson, is a fan of TD Tom Davies' 'Rockstar' sunglasses, and has been wearing them on the band's current 2010/2011 tour. Bellamy's ray ban sunglasses have a chrome finish, chosen to match one of his custom-made guitars, known as 'The Silver Manson.'
Other fans of the young Brit's superstar sunglasses include Rowan Atkinson and Kevin Spacey.
Stockists of TD Tom Davies sunglasses include: Gregory & Seeley, Fleet Street, London, EC4; Chatoo & Co., Knightsbridge, SW1; The Observatory, Muswell Hill, N10; and Eye Level, Lancaster Road, W1; stockist enquiries: 020 8392 0555;
